Manufacturing Engineer - heavy industry

• Technical University Degree, preferable in Mechanical or Oilfield Equipment;
• Minimum necessary experience of 1 year experience in manufacturing

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Ploiesti. In this role you will be responsible for preparing the manufacturing process, the CNC programs for metal cutting and design jigs, tools & fixtures to ensure component parts are machined using a safe, efficient & productive process. You will also have the opportunity to investigate ways to continually improve the methods and processes of manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish sequence of operations to machine and assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization of resources;
• Prepare BOM Plant, Process drawings and routes with accurately reflect drawing, Engineering BOM, Quality Plan requirements;
• Accurately calculate machining or assembling process times for both in-house and subcontract purposes;
• Determine correct work center, tooling and fixture for the component and assembly manufacture;
• Maintains accurate labor standards and assists manufacturing in determining manpower requirements by area and type of operation;
• Develop safe manufacturing processes and highlight safe working methods
• Accountable for modifications of routing as result of the part number revisions.
• Provide technical support to master machinists, setting operators and operators, in order to implement the programs on CNC’s
• Determine jigs, tools and fixtures needed in the manufacturing of products;
• Prepare quotations of jigs, tools and fixtures in order to ensure the manufacturing of the components according to the execution drawings.
