    Technically/ Experience we are looking for:

    • We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage a team of 7 team members and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.
    • As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.
    • Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.
    • As the Team Lead you will be responsible for coordinating the Team’s deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met, in time and in the agreed quality.

    Service standardization / Definition:

    • Provide a description of a service category in layman’s terms that allow for users of the Vendor Risk Management process to understand the service scope and its limitations. Describing the service includes outlining relevant DB standards for a service as applicable

    Tie Minimum Control Standards to services:
    • Minimum Control Standards (MCS) are being provided by the 2nd line functions along with service characteristics. Leveraging these service characteristics, the MCS will be assigned by this team to service categories. This enables the users of the process to understand which MCS are relevant for their services.
    Engage internal relationship owners and vendors to fill gap of missing artifacts:

    2nd line functions will deliver descriptions and examples of the evidences required for a service relationship with a vendor to document adherence to the MCSs. These evidences are provided by the internal service relationship owners and the vendors. The team will collaborate with these stakeholders and the 2nd line functions to ensure that adequate evidences are made available for the vendor risk assessment.

    Perform delegated 2nd line controls:
    • 2nd line functions (e.g. Compliance, Group Data Protection, Living Wills, etc.) may decide to delegate their vendor risk assessments partially or fully to the Certification Ops team. Performing these assessments will give the team members insights into the 2nd line requirements.
    • Certify vendors for standardized services:
    • After completion of the 2nd line assessments, a vendor will be certified for a service category by the team. This encompasses ensuring that all required assessments have been performed, gaps are noted and followed up, and maintaining the inventory of certifications in order to provide transparency to users and other stakeholders. It requires collaboration with the TPM business partners and the TPM CoE Ops team to ensure that certified vendors are leveraged to enable fast track processing.
    • Migrate information from RiskVision to SAP Ariba:
    • As part of the migration from the VRM legacy application RiskVision to SAP Ariba, an assessment of the existing information in RiskVision and the transfer of reliable and accurate data will be performed by the team.
    • Focused Vendor assessments as part of regulatory requirements:
    • DB is assessing vendors in a risk-based approach as part of a regulatory commitment. The team will perform this task that entails identifying internal service relationship owners, collecting evidences and questionnaires from the internal contacts and the vendors, collaborating with the 2nd line functions as part of the assessments and track progress to ensure completion in time and quality.

    • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
    • Experience in either IT, banking operations, banking, or risk and compliance
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
    • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
    • Excellent PC skills, especially MS Excel
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Organizational and time-management skills
    • Decision-making skills
    • Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong knowledge of operations management and business management for services organization
    • Hands-on mentality, focused on getting tasks completed in time
    • Ability to work within virtual global teams in a matrix organization
    • Ability to work in fast paced environment
    • Ability to receive, share and coordinate information, knowledge and expertise within a team environment
    • Flexible problem-solver, open minded to receiving input from colleagues
    • Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus

    Education/Certification:

    Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) and/or relevant practical experience
