What you bring to the team

At least 3 years of experience in developing architectures and application design in a large enterprise working on mission-critical IT systems.
Proven history of implementing technology roadmaps and providing subject matter expertise
Full SDLC experience on large complex systems
Formal IT architecture training
IT Architect certification desired
Financial services industry knowledge desired
Technical leadership experience
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Experience in a heterogeneous IT environment involving multiple applications and technologies
Knowledge of architecture methods and frameworks
Knowledge of reference architectures and patterns
Knowledge of estimation methods
Hands-on experience with application modelling and tools
Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organisations.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering. Information Technology or related technical field.

Your key responsibilities

Define the optimum architectures of technical solutions and leads technology teams to design, build, test and deliver high quality software solutions to meet business needs
Lead and guide designers and developers in the application of architecture best practice within their solution implementation
Communicate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand client needs
Identify the non-functional requirements
Produce and maintains the architectural and design relevant artefacts, including incorporation of software changes or enhancements
Create architectural and technology roadmaps
Consider applicable standards and policies and incorporate them into design
Identify risks associated with design and decisions; develop alternate solutions and mitigation plans; communicate them to stakeholders
Produce effort estimates and technical plans
Design for system performance and address performance issues
Work with the development teams to ensure architecture, design and implementation alignment
Provide technical project governance
Collaborate with colleagues participating in other stages of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Build, capture and manage the transfers of knowledge across the Professional community
