• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar degree;
• Strong Java SE development skills;
• Good understanding of software architecture and design;
• Spring/Spring Boot;
• Git, Gerrit, Maven
• Rabbit MQ;
• IDE: Eclipse STS;
• Advanced level of written and spoken English;
Would be a plus:
• Micro-service architectures ;
• Spring Integration;
• Spring Cloud Stream;
• Cloud Foundry;
• Web technologies (Angular2, Typescript);
We build software applications that allow trains to safely and securely bring passengers to their destination. These applications have high availability requirements, so they are not allowed to stall or randomly crash.
Our application engineering team is re-designing the entire Traffic Management System, from a monolithic architecture to micro-services running in the cloud.
If you are passionate, you want to work with the latest technologies and you have a good understanding of software architecture / design patterns, we would like to invite you to be part of our team as a Java Microservices developer
We are now just at the start of the project so there will be discussions related to technology alternatives, and we will tackle both the back-end (Java 1.8 and Spring) and front-end (Angular) topics.
As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:
· planning and prototyping a new application;
· building and testing Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data;
· writing unit tests;
· writing documentation;
The development will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Bucharest / Stuttgart and might require travelling between these locations.
You will also interact with our international GDP platform team, which provides support for our system’s technology stack.
As part of our team, your responsibilities include:
