Required competencies:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar degree (like Electronics, Transportation, …);
• Experience in testing Web and Cloud applications using REST APIs
• Experience in both manual and automated tests
• Web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, REST
• Experience in both manual and automated tests
• Experience with Protractor and Selenium;
• Java and scripting (Python, Linux bash or other scripting language)
• Advanced level of written and spoken English;
Would be a plus:
• Familiar with : Cloud, REST, Micro services, Enterprise Integration, 3-Tier
• Jenkins;
• Junit, Jasmine;
• Git, Gerrit, Maven;
• Experience in mission critical or safety critical projects
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with a process requiring formal documentation of test cases
• Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS 3 and HTML 5;
• Web technologies (Angular2, Typescript);
• Spring;
• Cloud Foundry;
We build software applications that allow trains to safely and securely bring passengers to their destination. These applications have high availability requirements, so they are not allowed to stall or randomly crash.
Our application engineering team is re-designing the entire Traffic Management System, from a monolithic architecture to micro-services running in the cloud.
If you are passionate, you want to work with the latest technologies and you have a good understanding of software architecture / design patterns, we would like to invite you to be part of our team as a Java Microservices tester
We are now just at the start of the project so there will be discussions related to technology alternatives, and we will tackle both the back-end (Java 1.8 and Spring) and front-end (Angular) topics.
As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:
· creating an automatic test framework for backend and fronted components;
· testing Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications;
· writing product tests;
· writing test reports;
· maintaining the continuous integration test-pipeline
The development and testing will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Bucharest / Stuttgart and might require travelling between these locations.
You will also interact with our international GDP platform team, which provides support for our system’s technology stack.
