About the project

The client operates as an universal bank, serving all categories of clients through its three specialized divisions: Wholesale Banking, Mid Corporate and Retail Banking

Your Day-to-Day

• Develop and maintain software programs according to set coding standards;
• Estimate duration of programming and unit testing phase;
• Perform unit testing after implementation to assure that every component of the application that was added or changed is working properly;
• Develop continuous delivery flows and contribute to processes;
• Provides 3rd line support for production incidents (when needed);
• Main technologies: Java EE, Spring, SQL.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role: 2 years minimum;
• Good knowledge of OOP & Databases;
• Java programming and aspect-oriented programing experience;
• Experience with:
o multi-threaded applications;
o J2EE/JEE Platform (JMS, JAX-WS,JAX-RS, EJB, JPA), Spring, SOA (SOAP and RESTful services);
o JBOSS AS or other application servers (Tomcat, Jetty, WebSphere etc);
o EAI patterns;
o Linux operating systems;
• Strong thinking skills (Algorithms and Data Structures);
• Experience working with Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP);
• Passion for software engineering and craftsman - like coding prowess;
• Very good organizational skills, quality orientation and attention to detail.

• HTML5, JavaScript (Angular.JS);
• WSO2/ ESB;
• Kafka;
• Scala;
• ElasticSearch/ NoSQL databases;
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
