    Requirements

    The Quality Manager from Oltenita Plant coordinates all needed activities for feed safety, legal compliance and quality of the products along the entire supply chain - starting with the raw materials, their processing and final products delivery on the market. The individual in this position coordinates the activity of maintaining, implementation, development and certification of ISO Quality and Food Safety Management System.

    Qualifications

    •University degree.
    •Minimum 1 year experience in a similar job, in Quality Department.
    •Integrity, conscientiousness and accountability for tasks, orientation towards rules and procedures
    •Management skills (Team coordination and motivation).
    •Learning capacity
    •Sense of problem solving/sense of urgency.
    •Adequate behavior and positive attitude.
    •Good organization and planning skills.
    •Good communication level English (reading and writing).
    •Word and excel knowledge for operating on PC.
    •Internal auditor certification, will be an advantage;
    •Experience as Quality Supervisor - one year, will be a plus
    •HACCP and ISO 22000 standards knowledge, preferred.

    Responsibilities

    Major Tasks

    •Ensure that the food safety management system is set up, implemented, maintained and updated in accordance with Romanian and European Union legislation; with good manufacturing guidelines set up at national level by authorities; with requirements of CAN FSQR Policy Manual and procedures.
    •Prepare the management review meetings and provide during these meetings the conformance status, problems and risks of Oltenita plant from food safety point of view.
    •Coordinate the implementation of prerequisite programs (PRPs) in Oltenita plant in accordance with the requirement from Cargill Animal Nutrition Quality Policy Manual and procedures.
    •Follow up and coordinate the contaminants control plan for the purchased raw materials and final products in accordance with internal control plan.
    •Participate in internal and/or external trainings, meetings and sessions related with food safety issues.
    •Is member of local recall team and collaborate with Romania Quality Manager for fast and total recall of the final products batches identified as potentially unsafe, notification of relevant 3rd parties, treatment of the recalled products affected, or existing on stock and act in accordance with Cargill Crisis Management procedures.
    •Coordinate the laboratory activity from Oltenita plant.
    •Organize the activity of quality controllers along the production in order to control the quality and food safety of the final products.
    •Participate actively to the solving of customer problems and complaints related to the product and services provided by Oltenița plant and report them to the Romania Quality Manager.
    •Collaborate with all departments from organization for assurance of conformance with legal provision applicable in feed industry related with quality and food safety of the purchased raw materials, ingredients and final products delivered Communicate the quality and food safety problems in the organization related with: new products development, changes of raw materials, ingredients, processes, production system and customer/ clients requirements.
    •Communicate internally Food safety problems/incidents from Oltenita plant in the organization, changes of legal requirements, new and unexpected risk for food safety of the products and materials, and the new control methods of these risks in accordance with Cargill Food Safety management system.
    •Lead and coordinate Food Safety Team from Oltenita plant and organize its activity, ensure proper training of HACCP team members.
    •Accountable for control of hygiene and housekeeping in Oltenita plant and good practices applied in the production, at reception, storage and delivery of raw materials and final products.
    •Prepare, coordinate and assist to the certification and survey audits of ISO quality and Food Safety management systems, client‘s audits and communicate to the top management the audit results and follow up the corrective actions and recommendation set up formulated in the audit reports.
    •Conduct the internal Food Safety audits in accordance with Cargill Animal Nutrition (CAN) FSQR Policy Manual and procedures. Prepare, coordinate and assist during controls of food safety authorities.
    •Communicate the results of the inspections and ensure the fulfillment of the requested measures for compliance.
