Developer Frontend

The Qualysoft Group was founded in Vienna in 1999. As an independent IT consultancy and service company, it supports its international customers by providing tailored IT solutions that are both flexible and innovative. Its main focus is on providers of financial and energy services, industrial firms, media/telecommunications companies, and institutions from the public sector.

- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of AngularJS
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
- Experience integrating with server-side code to produce dynamic pages
- Experience working with version control systems such as Jazz, SVN
- Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
- Experience in training others
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate his technical capability and experience: the types, duration and size of projects he's worked on and his strengths in advanced Javascript UI Development.
- Awareness of the Web Development industry and new technologies
- Able to organize own workload effectively and prioritize tasks
- Can quickly understand business requirements and then translate these into functional
- A good university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Good written and spoken English language

- Work closely with the scrum master and peer engineers to plan, execute and review day by day tasks and challenges
- Create and update HTML/CSS/Javascript, based on business specifications (wireframes) or bug reporting
-Translate designs and style guides provided by the design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance
- Ensure design and user experience quality throughout the development process to launch
- Build software applications – follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts
- Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies
