    Main responsibilities:

    • Negotiate and contract a portfolio of hotels with exclusive group rates, conditions and inventory
    • Constant monitoring of competitiveness of negotiated and contracted rates
    • Meet contracting deadlines
    • Build and maintain relationships with hotels and accommodation providers
    • Be the Industry Leading hotel expert of your assigned region having in-depth knowledge and understanding of your markets
    • Demonstrate effective knowledge of low and high seasons of your markets in order to meet and create demand and target expansive growth
    • Develop and ensure good relations with colleagues, Sales Leaders worldwide and Management. Provide feedback and identify any new ideas or problems
    • Monitor usage of contracted allocations
    • Ensure fair/event files are kept up-to-date
    • Represent G2 at Trade Shows and other events as required
    • Work closely with counterparts in Hotel Reservations and assist in placing volume (series) business, MICE and VIP groups
    • Submit monthly reports and other necessary reports as required by the Head of Destination Management
    • Assist the accounts department with any Purchase Order queries
    • Adhere and submit all monthly expenses based on budgets and reporting guidelines as set by the direct manager

    Knowledge, skills & experience:

    • Proven negotiation and commercial skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • English mandatory, knowledge of any other European language is a big advantage
    • Being able to work independently
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
    • Ability to work with tight deadlines and react to emergency situations
    • Problem solving skills
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment
    • Availability to travel regularly
    • Professional usage of MS office
