    Job role

    As part of the IT Support team, you have the responsibility to support and contribute to the development of the ARGO solution (Actuarial Reporting Group Object) which is a DWH (data warehouse) solution for all Allianz insurance companies. The data warehouse is stored in an Oracle database. Reporting is performed by MicroStrategy BI Tool. The solution is currently developed by a project team which consists of:
    - Oracle experts for the Oracle part of the ARGO solution (located in Milan – Italy)
    - MicroStrategy experts for the BI tool (located in Munich – Germany)
    - Actuarial Service Center to create the reports and to compile the business specifications (located in Bucharest – Romania)

    The system is already in a pre-productive version but additional developments will continue until mid of 2019. The operations team of the ARGO solution is planned to be built in Bucharest next to the Actuarial Service Center of Allianz.

    Responsibilities

    Understanding of customer requirements,
    Understanding of the architecture of ARGO solution,
    Close collaboration with Oracle experts team and Actuarial Service Center,
    Creation and maintaining of user groups and access rights to the user groups,
    Creation of requirements for IT - service team,
    Understanding and enhancement of MicroStrategy BI structure,
    Maintaining the documentation of MicroStrategy environment.

    Requirements

    At least 1 year experience in working with MicroStrategy
    Understanding of BI processes
    Understanding of data modelling
    Experience in working with Microsoft SQL server
    Experience with Click View, SAS, Tableau skills are of advantage
    Logical thinking
    Structured way of working
    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    Must be fluent in English both written and spoken
    Experience in working in an international environment

    Skills

    Effective communication, presentation and networking skills are essential
    Good Organizational Skills and Presentations skills
    Strategic Skills – Global Thinker, Analytical thinking and Problem solving
    Ability to implement distribution tools and methodologies that provide a market advantage compared to competitors
    Ability to utilize experience to implement best practices in channel management
