Your Mission:

The role revolves around two missions: transitioning processes on Data Quality and analyzing the business objectives of the stakeholder to develop solutions to their business needs.

The main processes covered by the Data Quality Team at Societe Generale European Business Services are: improving and maintaining data quality for the business lines and functional directions of the group, by managing different categories of data and by using the group tools or specific reporting tools.

Your Role in a Nutshell:

• Analyze and define processes of business both “As Is” and “To Be”;
• Analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures;
• Ad-hoc descriptive analysis or typology analysis (ex. clustering) of data;
• Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions together with the concerned Business Line Owner;
• Automation of the Data Quality activities reflecting the identified anomalies;
• Propose new controls and test their efficiency in accordance with the business requirements and using existent tools;
• Prepare the updates for the quarterly Data Quality Committees;
• Ensure the continuous improvement of Data Quality ecosystem;
• Ensure the KPIs completion and establish remediation plans if needed;
• Become a referent on all the DQ domains: Third Party, People, Products, Structures & Organizations and Nomenclatures;
• Support and back-up for Supervisor for operational tasks.

A little about You:

• You have previous experience in analyzing the business objectives of the stakeholder and develop solutions to their business issues;
• You have former experience in transition processes;
• You have knowledge in defining processes and writing standard operating procedures;
• You have VBA minimum skills;
• You have experience in Data Quality, with minimum 2-3 years as a Business Analyst/Project Manager/SME/Technical lead;
• You are fluent in English; French minimum level: B1.
