    Requirements

    For our client, a well-known leader in automotive, we are looking for a Knowledge Author with German.

    Requirements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in native language in the market supported, calm and methodical approach, active listening skills, responds with appropriate feedback
    • Ability to use English as second language during training, for systems, performance evaluation and during European multi-national meetings
    • Excellent computer literacy – Including Microsoft Office packages and Internet Explorer
    • Ideally previous experience in using contact centre system and tools
    • A flair for turning technical subjects and jargon into easily understood text
    • Expected and required to possess strong writing, editing, and quality assurance skills and ability to produce quality documents.
    • The ability to absorb information quickly
    • An analytical mind and an inquisitive nature
    • Effective time and task management skills
    • Experience in the customer care industry, ideally within the Automotive sector



    Responsibilities

    Knowledge Authors review, classify, validate and update content held within the clientt system. Including contacting other Departments, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and document owners for accuracy as required, for processes deployed by the Knowledge Management Team.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Meeting colleagues to discuss requirements to the content, which needs to be created
    • Deciding how best to organise and present the document
    • Writing the material clearly and concisely, making sure it can be easily understood
    • Editing, proof-reading and indexing
    • Testing the written material with users
    • Translating content into a different language
    • Support for the quality and training teams in creating and translating materials
    • Analysing content usage
    • Proactively identify and make ongoing improvements
    • Respond to questions and provide direction
    • Interact with operations to determine documentation needs and design appropriate
    • Other requirements as business needs dictate
