System Engineer Function realisation - Brake SW (Contract, Gothenburg)

Required qualifications:

*M.Sc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
*Experience of industrial designing, Software electronic development and quality assurance
*Knowledge of Embedded Systems.
*Fluent in English, both written and spoken
*Experience of Safety requirements, System Safety ISO 26262 within the automotive industry
*Driver’s license B.

Meritorious qualifications:

*Experience in Vehicle Dynamics area and foremost Brake system
*Experience of other electrical base technologies (e.g. network design or communication, diagnostics)
*Experience of AUTOSAR.

The section Active Safety & Vehicle Dynamic Functions delivers world leading active safety and vehicle dynamics functions and has a clear ambition to extend the leadership in the future. The group Brake Software are responsible to realise brake and dynamic function in the vehicle in all programs and over the entire life cycle. The group contains of employees responsible for function realisation, system design and software development and lead of Brake functions. We now extend the System Engineer/Function Realisatíon team – Brake SW.

Main responsibilities:

*Analyze, agree and define subsystem requirement based on functional-, legal-, architectual- and base-tech -requirement.
*Define, which ECU´s, sensors, actuators that will be involved and set the interface between the nodes.
*Create functional and technical safety concept in line with the ISO26262 standard.
*Update functional and sub system implementation plan (tool LEQM), produce signals in a tool called Electra, and set diagnostic requirement in a database.
*The System Engineer/Function Realisation team take responsibility for the total coordination of the electrical realisation of Vehicle Dynamic brake functions (according to the Generic Function list) and develop and maintain electrical system solutions according to the vehicle subsystems (the total vehicle system is divided into a number of subsystems).
 

Start Date: Ongoing 2018
End Date: 12+months, ongoing.
Salary: 40-50 Euro per hour
Location: Gothenburg.
