PROE PDMlink Mechanical Design Engineer Contract Job Sweden

*BSc or BEng degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Product Design or similar
*Min 5 years PROE, any Driveline, Gear Box.
*Internal combustion engine components including cylinder head, valves, crankshaft, pistons and con rods.
*Be an expert user on CREO / Pro Engineer / Pro E / Wildfire, ideally 5- 10 years exposure to this CAD package.
*Heavy Machine processing Vehicle  expertise.
*Proficiency with using Microsoft Office
*Good time management skills and the ability to help manage different projects
*Excellent communication skills
*The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
*Advanced level of English is required (both spoken and written).

The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:

*Contributing to the design and development of new products as well as developing changes to existing ones
*Using Creo CAD software for 3D design work
*Communicating effectively with different team members
*Taking designs right through from concept to production being involved with prototyping too
*Working within the existing design team as the company continues to grow
*Designing jigs and fixtures as required
*Defining BOM's
*Helping to solve any production issues that may arise

Start Date: Ongoing to 2018
End Date: 6-24 months plus
Location: Gothenburg.
