    In Romania, Deutsche Telekom has set up a Shared Service Center in Bucharest & Timisoara - Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Romania (DTSE Romania), which delivers support function services such as HR, Accounting, Reporting and Finance, as well as IT support services for these lines of business, for the whole European Deutsche Telekom footprint since July 2013.

    Requirements


    Ability to translate from English into German or vice versa
    Experience as a professional translator is desirable
    University degree or similar education as a translator
    Willingness to learn to use terminology databases and other translation tools
    Teamwork skills
    Strong focus on the customer

    Responsibilities


    Receiving and processing interpreting orders
    Advising customers on the best interpreting options for their event
    Advising customers on the appropriate and/or necessary use of interpreting equipment
    Booking the necessary (internal and/or external) resources, processing NDAs
    Entering and updating the relevant data for assignments in the workflow tool
    Organizing and sending preparatory documentation to interpreters
    Advising customers on the need to consider important aspects of communication that are not directly linked to the foreign language in question (intercultural communication issues)
    Producing faithful, linguistically correct translations of texts from a wide range of specialist areas and of varying levels of complexity
    Updating the department's internal terminology database
    Checking/reviewing translations in line with agreed quality standards
    Creating shopping carts for translation and/or interpreting services, and increasing the value limits of these carts
    Checking invoices
    Entering and updating customer data in the workflow tool
