Health, Safety & Environment Engineer

Profile
Technical university degree;
Minimum 2 years experience on a similar position in a production environment, preferably in a multinational company
Health and Safety professional certificate (min 80 hrs.)
Health and Safety postuniversitary degree (or equivalent Risk assessment certificate)
Certifications that are an advantage: Environmental Responsible, Fire protection (min 80 hrs), Civil defense
Experience and excellent knowledge of Romanian HSE law, practices and policies;
Strong communication and influencing skills;
Fluent in English;
Ability to multi-task within tight deadlines and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Partnering with HSE & Site Leadership team to ensure HSE regulatory compliance with local regulations and adherence to company HSE standard practices, acting as HSE advisor
Coordinate & implement the HSE procedures, policies & standards
Conducts HSE audits and inspections while proactively identifying & correcting unsafe and unhealthy work conditions or practices
Perform, supervise and coordinate HSE training programs
Assist line management to conduct H&S risk assessments.
