    The role of the Visibility Systems Business Group is to design and produce efficient and innovative systems which support the driver at all times, day and night, offering perfect visibility and thereby improving the safety of both driver and passengers.

    This Business Group comprises two Product Groups: Lighting Systems and Wiper Systems.


    1 year in a mechanical and/or optical laboratory;
    Production or laboratory experience (preferably);
    Microsoft Office - advanced level;
    English - at least medium level.


    His activity in Valeo Laboratory will be carried out in accordance with ISO 17025, Iso TS 16949 and other norms specific to the automotive industry. Acquires and observes the provisions of the Laboratory Quality Manual, the management requirements and the specific technical requirements formulated within the laboratory;
    The activity is carried out in the Department of Electromechanical Tests, coordinated by the Quality Engineer - Laboratory with this specialty;
    He is trained and checked for the knowledge of the theoretical and practical professional knowledge by the Laboratory Engineer. He follows up to date his own Polyvalence Matrix;
    He is trained and supervised by the Laboratory Engineer, in connection with carrying out the tests according to the norms, the correct use of the working time, the fulfillment of the requirements of the test request, etc.
    He has the obligation to know the products to be tested electromechanically, in terms of composition (components and product assembled);
    He has the obligation to know, theoretically and practically, the norms of the client, will put into practice the tests described in these norms and will interpret the results;
    Manage laboratory samples for electromechanical tests, handle the pieces correctly, according to Valeo's rules;
    Performs test programs for work equipment, according to the technical specifications of the products;
    Configure the test equipment (for example, mechanical, electrical and fasteners, program loading, parameter definition);
    Ensure the execution of mechanical, electrical, physical and chemical tests in accordance with the testing program and the availability of necessary equipment;
    Respond to the correct execution and validation of the tests and make test reports;
    Edit and archive test reports;
    Performs electromechanical tests included in the RPA according to Test Protocol / Family of Products;
    Provides laboratory support to industrial departments, production, quality, procurement, sales;
    Performs tests for product development, validation of new or transfer projectors, validation of new materials - support for P0 and P30 activities and laboratory accreditation activities;
    Perform typical task maintenance tasks;
    Participates in ongoing improvement projects;
    Informs the engineer about problems of non-compliance with the requirements of the documentation, of the tested products. After checking the correctness with the test, the subject is brought to the attention of the Laboratory Coordinator;
    Together with the Laboratory Coordinator, ensure that quality issues are brought to the attention of the test applicant (and those involved) using the Valeo methods (PDCA, etc.). The time period between getting the non-conforming result and communicating with the test applicant and the persons involved must be at most 1 hour;
    He deals with the implementation of corrective actions for the non-conformities identified in its field of activity during the audits (internal, external, customer, certification, etc.).
    Participates in training organized in Valeo and complements his / her knowledge acquired through an individual study related to his / her specialty;
    Complete the basic specialty studies with the necessary preparation of the activities in the other departments of the laboratory;
    Ensures professional secrecy regarding laboratory tests, attended or science;
    Check the maintenance of the laboratory's facilities in accordance with the requirements of the test norms;
    Is responsible for the implementation of Valeo 5S in its area of ​​responsibility in the laboratory;
    Respect the safety and environmental standards. Comply with waste disposal rules;
    Issue monthly improvement proposals and, to the extent possible, ensure that the improvement proposals for it are carried out;in addition to the above tasks, other activities and responsibilities can be defined individually.
