Senior Accountant

APT is recruiting for its client, a world’s leading technology multinational company, that has led the way into the advanced digital era thanks to the technological expertise acquired by manufacturing many home appliances.

You will be a member of the accounting team with advanced accounting knowledge, able to perform reconciliations for all system modules.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Economical university degree;
- Good computer knowledge (especially Excel);
- Advanced both spoken and written English;
- Organized, flexible and proactive;
- Team player.

Responsibilities:

- Fill in Intercompany invoices (affiliates) received from the suppliers & customers;
- Accruals for VAT supplier’s invoices, VAT cash base reconciliation;
- Preparing monthly VAT return - D300, the declaration regarding EU in/ out goods and services deliveries D-390, the declaration regarding deliveries, acquisitions and providing local services - D394;
- Intrastat declaration for EU goods deliveries and other declarations requested by the National Institute of Statistics;
- Preparing the sales and purchases VAT journal;
- Bank reconciliation between the bank statements and accounting transactions;
- Preparing the local trial balance and the reconciliation with the global trial balance; booking local adjustments and monthly closing of expenses and incomes through P&L account.
