TAC Transmission Engineer

You have the chance to join a team of enthusiastic people who want to build a strong connected, well instructed and customer focused team that will handle customer service requests from all Europe for our Enterprise Transmission products - OptiX OSN Series.

Responsibilities:
- Handling customer service requests from all Europe for our Enterprise Transmission products - OptiX OSN Series.

Requirements for TAC Transmission Engineer:
- Familiar with TCP/IP & OSI protocol stack;
- Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS) and MPLS VPN;
- Knowledge of switching technologies and protocols (Vlans, STP);
TAC Transmission Engineer
- Knowledge of SDH, WDM indicators, clock, equipment interoperability, Automatically Switched Optical Network (ASON), Error Checking and Correcting (ECC), Automatic Level Control (ALC), Automatic Power Equilibrium (APE), and Intelligent Power Adjustment (IPA);
- Strong troubleshooting skills (able to analyze debug outputs and packet captures);
- More than 1 year work experience in system integration or telecommunication will have priority.
