Our client is a global leading multinational company in brewing industry. In Bucharest they have recently opened a shared service center covering f&a, hr, procurement and maser data processes. For their internal accounting department we are hiring a financial manager role who will be incharge with the financial setup of this start-up.
This position is responsible for effectively and timely manage the reporting processes, including the consolidation of financial reports for GBS Romania like P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow in line with group standards and accounting principles.
Overseeing budgeting and accounting, this position is also responsible to ensure compliance in line with local Tax and Legal Requirements, to ensure Statutory requirements are met.
Working closely with the GBS Leadership Team as well with GBS Performance Director, this role identifies areas of the business to perform meaningful analytics and to find profit opportunities and/or cost savings to further improve GBS's financial performance, making sure adequate controls are in place in line with guidelines and objectives.
Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting firm and/or multinational industry experience in Finance Departments; ideally previous experience in BPO industry as internal accountant
Should have an understanding of financial planning, budget and project evolution
Knowledge of internal audit, accrual process, P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet management
Ability to focus in details and manage large quantities of financial data.
Ability to meet tough deadlines even with limited resources and work in project environment.
Proficiency in managing Excel and data base, knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
Working with SAP environment, SAP reports
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders & build excellent working relationships
Team player with ability to foster relationships with various departments
Good communications skills with presentation experience
Ensure periodic closing are correct, including control of all accounting entries, to provide accurate financial information. Detail Financial analysis to understand better the financial performance, and the main effects on the results.
Ensure compliance with all legal and official requirements for GBS Romania and ensuring all finance policies are in place. Responsible of SOX check list and also guarantee governance and compliance policies of MCE/MCBC
Cash Flow guardian using a financial control framework, including financial accountabilities and authorities to ensure full financial control. Lead and assist with monthly and quarterly reports for GBS
Provide timely and quality management reporting to assist management in the decision-making process, including strong analysis of business performance, following up results and comparing it against plan (implement corrective actions, if needed)
Financial Input to support both Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Plan. Financial support to new business developments initiatives as well as existing contractual changes
