5+ years experience delivering enterprise level applications
Passionate about technology
Excellent command of C++, preferably C++ 11
Comfortable using the boost library
Very good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Experienced using GIT and branching strategies
Experience running a Linux environment
Strong communication skills especially in English;
Team player and collaborative attitude, open to feedback and change
Having samples of your work publicly available on GitHub, Bitbucket etc is a strong plus

Expand current products used to support the development infrastructure of the entire 1&1
Develop new products for the 1&1 infrastructure tooling
Own the technology stack for C++ based products
Collaborate with the department architect on defining product architecture
Coordinate with business stakeholders for understanding of requirements and designing of scalable solutions;

We mainly code in Java, C++, JavaScript, PHP and Python, while other programming languages are employed on a case-by-case basis in order to offer our clients powerful information systems combining advanced and stable solutions with modern and innovative technologies.

Our focus: software engineering, infrastructure tools, components & applications. We aim to make a positive contribution to software development in 1&1, impacting both internal engineering tools and customer oriented products.
