The ideal candidate will demonstrate a readiness to assume significant responsibilities and exercise judgement with decreasing direct supervision, and the ability to manage his/her own time effectively.
The Audit Junior must demonstrate the written and verbal communication skills necessary (in both Romanian and English) to effectively interface with all levels of firm management and staff, clients and other external business contacts. The Audit Junior must also demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team.
A Bachelor's degree or in terminal year in Accounting, Business or Finance is required. Individuals in this position must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software.
As an Audit Junior, you will have the opportunity to interact with our clients and learn from the professionals within our firm. Our client base encompasses all industry groups, not-for- profit organizations and governmental entities. During the first three to six months of employment, the Audit Junior will learn and use the basic systems and procedures of the firm. Incumbents will participate in formal training courses and on-the-job training led by senior staff members. The Audit Junior will gain knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures.
The Audit Junior reports to the person in charge of the engagement. All work performed will be supervised. The Audit Junior will rely solely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Coaching and training in a controlled and closely supervised environment will allow the employee to perform some of the required tasks of an engagement assignment.
