GMV - Internship - Software Development

GMV is looking for a student who is interested in web and J2EE developments, in unit test and testing environments specifically.

You’ll have the chance to work with a talented, young and international team. The candidate will integrate within the Remote Sensing Applications and Services division. This division process the images acquired by the satellites and provide the added value results to the customers using state of the art technologies. The candidates will develop their activities in the part of the provision of products to the end users, developing web portals, integrating GIS systems and slowly moving to the integration of the services in the cloud. For this job to be yours, you shall have the following knowledge/experience:

• Qualifications: Msc Computer engineer

• Required knowledge:

  • J2EE Development (tomcat, jboss)

  • Portlets Development (liferay)

  • GIS Applications (OpenLayers, geonetwork)

  • SOA Architecture (SOAP, JAXB, WSDL)

  • MySQL, Postgres, PosGIS.

• Desirable Knowledge:

  • JSON, HMTL5

  • Jenkins, Sonar

  • GMES standards (EO, ebRIM, HMA)

  • RCP developments

  • Jasper Reports, BI
