Junior IT Consultant

Our Advisory Services Department is growing and we need 3 junior IT consultants. By becoming a part of EY, you will join a fast growing and dynamically developing department that is one of the key players in the Romanian market.

The opportunity

As junior in IT Advisory, you will work on various advisory and IT audit engagements in different industry sectors in which EY is acknowledged as a market leader, specifically: financial services, energy and utilities, oil and gas, industrial products, retail and consumer products, real estate, etc.

You will have the opportunity to grow within EY pyramid structure, attending training sessions and getting more and more involved in IT projects including up to solution architecture and robotics.

 

Your key responsibilities

Inventory on the client companies’ status.

Preparing summary documents.

Interaction with employees of client companies with the aim of gathering essential data and information.

Skills and attributes for success

Knowledge of English at intermediate level or above

Confidence in PC use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

To qualify for the role you must be

University graduate with the drive to start a career, with a specialization in Computer Science / Telecom / Cybernetics

Able to understand basics in Business and IT processes

IT savvy and show basic information security awareness, basic understanding about information security standards (ISO27000, PCI-DSS, SoX, etc.)

Capable of showing initiative and a positive attitude to work

Willing to ask for and accept feedback

Creative thinker and have a problem solving orientation

Attentive to details and accurate in your work

Ideally, you’ll also have

One or more recognized IT certifications such as (CCNA, MCP, LPIC, SSCP, Cobit, ITIL, Togaf, ISTQB)
