Responsibilities

Intercompany AP Accountant
Location: Prague
Responsibilities
- Process payable inventory invoices
- Reconcile GL balances on intercompany (IC) accounts to the source systems
- Investigate and resolveany errors with operating companies where required
- Coordinate IC netting for Synthes with involved teams, and communicate with IC partners
- Reconcile IC loan accounts
- Handle the communication on intercompany queries on a professional level
- Resolve all outstanding issues/errors
- Reporting & Accounting Period Close
- Create IC statements and other reports as required
- Calculate and prepare IC accruals
- Communicate identified differences with IC partners
- Prepare AP Reconciliation
- Track IC aging with regards to inventory payables
Qualifications
- Advanced level of English
- Experience in accounting is an advantage
- Good understanding of accounting principles (payables/receivables) required
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Logical problem solving skills
- Independent, proactive and customer oriented person
- Good communication and organization skills
- Ability to prioritise and schedule workload
- Team spirit, loyality
