     Category vendor management
    o Implement category - internal vendor management for the defined subcategories in coordination with the responsible Global Vendor Managers (if applicable);
    o Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, gather internal customer feedback;
    o Active local vendor development;
     Sourcing activities;

     Analyse optimization levers regarding demand and demand specifications (Demand Shaping); initiate and perform demand challenges where appropriate in cooperation with procurement engineering;
     Perform local sourcing initiatives based upon:
     the category strategy;
     rules of collaboration;
     evaluation of demand forecast.
     Structure, steer and drive sourcing projects according to best practices including:
     appropriate (international) project staffing and distribution of tasks
     milestone planning and controlling in accordance with standard processes and procedures.
     Support Global Category Management/Sourcing in performing global sourcing initiatives / supplier deals;
     Realize the local implementation of global sourcing initiatives (if applicable);
     Conclude local contracts with the main vendors of the subcategories;
     Cover vendors claim management (in case of issues w/ quality, logistics and/or quantities);
     Active contract controlling for the relevant subcategory and for change request mgmt of contracts in place.


    -Master or Bachelor degree;
    -SAP knowledge is a must!
    -Negotiation skills;
    -Analytical skills;
    -English language: Passive command (ability to understand technical documentation) is required, fluency an advantage;
    -Knowledge of the relevant subcategory market and relevant technologies (trends);
    -Good PC handling (windows; office).
