    General AIX, Windows 2003/2008/7 and Linux/zLinux Administration skills required.
    Have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical problems.
    Server Installation and configuration for HMC Skills.
    Virtualization on pSeries, xSeries, and zSeries.
    Proficient in the following: Install/configure WebSphere/IHS V8 on various OS
    Install/config of DB2 on various OS’s
    Troubleshoot OS and Middleware
    Steady State Support of OS/WAS/IHS/DB2 environments.
    Application Configuration with WebSphere LDAP WebSphere Portal Websphere Caching Proxy WebSphere Lotus Domino


    The System Administrator is the Primary/Backup Admin of several servers.
    Respond to the customer tickets according to their severity.
    Maintain Servers Data Base record set updated.
    In case of weekend outages, be able to shutdown/restart servers.
    Troubleshoot OS system & performance issues.
    Troubleshoot Middleware issues
    Conduct OS and Middleware upgrades and migrations
