Grow with US within our Transportation team to oversee and manage the day to day Cost Controlling activities and ensure excellence in freight costing service. Also, you will have to ensure a flawless, in time and accurate process of payments to our partners.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As Transportation Cost Controller Lead, you will be part of our success by:
Responsible for managing and overseeing the Cost Controlling, Freight Audit & Costing and Operational Analysis;
Focusing on cost review and driving saving opportunities through deep dives analysis and audit of costs;
Providing financial insight and transparency that support the decision making in both operational and commercial organisations;
Responsible for managing communication with the planning and execution team;
Partner effectively with external customers and internal transportation retained organization, customer service representatives, supply planning organization, distribution organization with a focus on increased value and benefit realization;
Liaises with continuous improvement team to support implementation of operational and system improvements;
Continuously seeks out opportunities to improve current processes;
Provides ongoing visibility into transportation movements and performance;
Gathers improvement ideas from the transportation planners as well as form his team;
Evaluates operational performance and team performance;
Analyzes and optimizes transportation & execution activities.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
At Kellogg’s, we emphasise on recruiting the best people to help grow our business and build on our success. To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
Experienced with SAP system;
Excellent Excel knowledge and analysis experience;
Cost Controlling Experience;
University Degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field;
Language skills- English (Required);
Understanding of transportation rules and regulations; standard processes and business policies;
Ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Skills to effectively communicate to all levels demonstrating expertise, professionalism and confidence;
Experience in a shared services.
Master’s Level University Degree in Finance, Management, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field;
Training and certification on Six Sigma or LEAN, or similar quality management experience;
Experience of working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally;
FMCG industry work experience.
