    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor's degree in related field required (Organization Development, Psychology, Education, Human Resources Development, Counseling, Business Administration)
    2 years related professional experience, including a coach and trainer role
    Good knowledge of Microsoft office, especially PowerPoint
    English fluent, French or German is a plus

    Responsabilitati

    Mission:

    Main focus for this role will be to support the Cluj teams in their development process with a strong link to strengthening our office and company culture
    The Learning and Development Specialist will create impact:
    by coordinating the training and development programs for Cluj Business Center through alignment and close collaboration with the HR department and local management team
    by acting as catalyst: understanding local needs and tapping into the global knowledge (tools, trainings, concepts, frameworks and functional expertise) available at Steelcase to provide support quickly and appropriately, to both leverage available knowledge and the effectiveness of implementation
    through hands-on interaction, supporting and coaching leadership team to help “unlocking the human promise” in their employees, both in a systematic way and as needed day-to-day

    Detailed Task Description:

    Based on the talent priorities identified, and by applying Steelcase University learning consulting methodology, determine and analyze learning and development needs of functional or cross-functional groups
    Develop functional and cross-functional needs into an overall learning & development plan, grouping needs by technical, cross-cultural, personal and methodological skills
    Assess and recommend available learning solutions, preferring programs already available at Steelcase. If none are available, identify outside provider or conceive solutions and support implementation in a timely manner
    Prepare and/or review reports, survey results, etc. to analyze and identify training opportunities, common learning trends and needs
    Provide support to functional leaders to determine individual and team skill and/or performance gaps short-, mid- and long-term
    Act as coach to local leaders or content multipliers in a “train the trainer” approach, assist the leaders and content owners in the formulation, plan development, methodologies, implementation strategies, and measures to determine the right learning architecture for the targeted audience leading to better performance
    Deliver training programs and program materials, support tools and job aides to train all levels of personnel in response to development needs
    Deliver training follow-up sessions on key subjects
    Develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
    Support implementation of Steelcase foundational training for all employees
    Follow-up on training progress and completion results
    Support HR and Cluj management team in the development of local programs such as onboarding experience for new comers, programs design for building the right culture in the Cluj office, cross-cultural work environment, remote management etc
    Conduct general or specialized presentations and workshops as part of the onboarding program
    Help build relationships with outside consultants/vendors
    Stay current and participate in key learning & development initiatives and processes within Steelcase
    Conduct research to identify current trends and thinking relative to area of work as required
    Provide input about local functional and cross-functional needs to global Learning & Development
    Stay connected with the Steelcase Learning Group in order to understand the global learning strategy and ensure alignment with global learning objectives and programs
    Trainings schedule and training completion tracking
