- Strong knowledge of the Cognos reporting tool suite (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Event studio, Cognos cubes, Cognos SDK)
- Cognos SDK experience a plus
- Strong understanding of SQL database
- Experience with improving query performance and analyzing Cognos Query and Native Query
- Strong data modeling experience with multi-dimensional cubes, balanced/ragged hierarchies, logical/physical entity, marts/star/snowflake

- Analyze business requirements, raw data to produce a structured relational and/or dimensional data model that resonates with the user requirement and document the technical/functional requirement into standardized templates that facilitate easy and defect free development
- Develop Framework Manager Models, BI Reports and Dashboards in Cognos 10.2.1 or 10.2.x
- Understand business concepts behind reporting specifications
- Produce technical design documentation including logical data models and detailed reporting specification consistent with reporting requirement
- Liaison with internal team of business analysts, project managers, architects, developers and infrastructure teams to ensure all functional and non‐functional requirements are met
- Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for report functions/specification
- Create SQL queries against
- Oracle/SQL Server for data profiling, troubleshooting and tactical ad hoc reporting
