IT Service Engineer

Job Requirements:

- Education: Preferably a degree in the IT&C domain
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Competencies:
Experience with Windows and Linux OS. (experience on OS X is a plus)
General knowledge regarding network technologies, protocols and ports
General knowledge regarding end user IT&C devices
Knowledge of virtualization technologies is a plus
Knowledge of ITIL framework is a plus

As an IT Service engineer, your primary focus will be on internal user support for company PC’s, printers, VoIP desk phones, and related equipment and services.

General tasks include:

- Installation of OS and software using the internal deployment systems.
- Doing hardware upgrades and installations
- Offering support regarding various software issues that might arise
- License tracking and management
- Hardware Inventory tracking and maintenance
- Deploying hardware setup for new employees
- Using internal tools to handle various DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Exchange and network issues
