WHAT WILL I BE DOING?


The Financial Accountant is responsible for performing a diverse set of work activities included in the end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) process for the Kellogg organization. In support of the Global Business Services strategic objectives, the Trainee RTR Close Books:
Build individual skills and capabilities through learning opportunities such as training courses and on-the-job training; strive to be a process champion or expert for the end-to-end RTR process;
Be involved in RTR workshops, cross department projects, continuous improvement initiatives as part of our Service Excellence Culture;
Help in deliver accurate and timely European financial reporting information across the European markets and European Supply Chain;
Create a seamless and satisfying internal and external customer experience for all interactions with the Kellogg Center RTR team;
Contribute to a team environment that is focused on high performance and operational excellence;
Manage the timely month-end close for markets and accurate management submissions to the Financial Planning & Analysis Team in line with the month-end timetable;
Calculate and post monthly accruals, prepayments allocations and recharges for COGS and Direct Charges; also post monthly accruals, prepayments, allocations and recharges for other areas as instructed.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

Fresh Graduate of Academy of Economic Studies, June 2017;
Attended Finance & Accounting courses/trainings/workshops;
Team player in order to keep an open communication with the entire RTR team;
Desire to learn complex processes and adapt fast on the daily issues;
Innovative spirit for providing out of the box ideas which create a win-win situation with the customers;
Knowledge of Excel basic functions in order to be able to use it on a daily basis, expert to become after 6 months with us.
