Hardware Design Engineer

Requirements:

Degree in Electronics

Fundamental knowledge in electronics architecture (analogous and digital)

Knowledge in PCB design tools such as Altium, Mentor, Cadence, Eagle, Orcad etc

Fundamental knowledge in electronics modules design regarding the recommended electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). .

Knowledge in Spice-based electronic simulation tools is recommended

Ability to handle mechanical drawings and technical design

Fundamental knowledge in prototyping and manufacturing processes

Experience using various types of troubleshooting tools and devices such as: Oscilloscopes, signal generators, soldering equipment, bipolar power supplies, digital multi-meters, function generator and other electronics repair and design equipment.

Worst C ase C ircuit A nalysis (WCCA) is a plus.

Good English language skills

Availability to travel in a limited measure

Responsibilites:

Design analogue and digital electronic circuits with uController architecture

Develop Schematics and PCB Layouts using Altium Designer software tool

Develop electronic modules according to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and IPC standard

Perform circuit simulations and calculations to support hardware design

Use software simulation such as LTSpice and Altium Designer

Create fabrication data and appropriate documentation for PCB manufacturing and assembly

Make test documentation and perform test protocols
