    Responsabilitati

    Facility manager’s assistant will be responsible for monitoring the management of the facility services and processes that support the core business of the organization. He/she ensure that the organization has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities.
    Areas of responsibility include:

    procurement and contract supervising
    building and grounds maintenance
    basic accountancy reporting
    reception, cleaning supervising
    advance payments control
    supervising the protocol activities for internal/external clients
    security
    utilities and communications infrastructure’s maintenance
    car fleet supervising

    Typical work activities

    control large budgets using special reports and keeping records of all facilities cost
    develop working relationships with a wide range of people (subcontractors, vendors, clients, construction teams)
    project management and supervising and coordinating work of contractors
    calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
    directing and planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling;
    planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources , or re-organizing current premises;
    checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies;
    coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility;
    responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
    making sure that IT systems such as computers, telephones, photocopiers and faxes, work effectively
