PHP Developer (e-commerce project)

This project is for the main online payments processor in Romania and it offers to online shops a secure, fast and simple way to accept online payments for any type of products and services accepted by Visa and MasterCard.

We want to engage a specialist to join the development team.
The project will involve web development for in-house payment application using Agile Scrum methodology.

Position goal: Software Development

Required:
- Solid knowledge of software engineering principles (OOP, Design Patterns, Agile best practices, etc.);
- Experience working with PHP and JavaScript;
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL;
- Advanced knowledge of APIs, web protocols and services (REST, SOAP, HTTP, SOA, Microservices, etc.)
- Experience building large-scale applications and refactoring it;
- Experience with unit/integration/functional/exploratory tests;
- Ability to deliver value in an Agile development environment — experience in working Agile (Scrum, LeSS, Kanban).

Overall responsibilities:
- Own and drive development, testing and delivery of best quality features in a cross functional environment; understand business needs and push great software to production
- Design core, backend software components that can scale as our product does;
- Responsible for resolving, testing any production issues when they arise;
- Conduct design and code reviews;
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various product components and system resources;
