What are we looking for?

Management to Senior Management positions in KPMG Forensic Romania
We are looking for forensic professionals with at least 5 years’ experience in advisory consulting, private sector or any relevant experience in any law enforcement or public institution specialized in economic and financial crimes.
What areas provide relevant experience for forensic professionals? Experience in compliance, fraud and bribery investigations, competition and other regulatory investigations, intelligence (including business intelligence and competitive intelligence), dispute and arbitration, internal audit, external audit, risk analysis and risk management, law, financial accounting, financial modelling, research, criminology and forensic technology.

Requirements
Knowledge & Skills:
— Good communication skills (oral and in writing)
— Fluent in English (very good to excellent writing and oral proficiency)
— Attention to detail, with above average analytical skills
— Above average IT/Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet). Ability to work in various databases is a plus
— Financially literate, with a broad understanding of the financial environment (local and international)
— Able to work within a structured framework and to understand and disaggregate complex issues
— Able to work in teams
— Project management exposure/experience
— Exposure or knowledge of IFRS and Romanian GAAP rules and regulations a benefit.

Other requirements:
— Able to travel in Romania and internationally
— Able to cope well in a high stress environment.

Qualification:
— A suitable degree in a related field: accounting/auditing, law, investigations, compliance, cyber forensics.
— CFE or related certifications such as AMCAM is a plus.

Job description, responsibilities and benefits:

— Responsibility for fieldwork management and report writing within the provided services
— Coordinating cooperation with other team specialists in Romania and regionally for e.g. in data mining, corporate intelligence, accounting and with external lawyers
— Responsibility for the project management, delivery and execution of services for specific client engagements
— Responsibility for managing and developing junior staff on projects
— Active participation in opportunities identification, and increased participation in marketing strategy and proposal development.
