OpenStreetCam is a free and open platform for street level imagery. Regular people can contribute images using the smartphone apps.
As a first step, OpenStreetCam will blur the human faces and license plate and make them public to everyone. In a second step, various detections are run on the photos and GPS traces, like road signs recognition, lane detection, road elevation and curvature. The target of this is to improve the quality of OpenStreetMap, the free, editable map of the world globally. The ultimate goal is to produce maps for self-driving cars – as we believe this is the biggest revolution in transportation to come – and we want to create the maps for that (together with the community).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to customers’ needs and inquiries
- Provide information about our programs and application
- Review or make changes to user accounts
- Handle returns or complains
- Record details of customer contacts and actions taken
- Work closely with the team to address he user concerns
- Interact with users through emails an phone calls
- Investigate user problems and determine the right solutions
- Get involved in customer discovery
- Occasionally work during the evenings if needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands on individual
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills;
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and proactive attitude, with resilience under pressure
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent oral and written knowledge of English
- Creative, analytical, and detail-oriented self-starter who can work successfully both independently and as part of a team
- Desire to thrive at Telenav and change the way the world connects
- Fast learner
- Tech savvy, apps lover
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
SKILLS THAT ARE CONSIDERED A PLUS:
- Marketing, Business, Operational, Admin background
- University / Master degree
- + 1 year work experience
