Global Employer Services (GES) service line forms part of the Deloitte Tax practice. GES comprises over 2,400 tax professionals in 28 countries across Europe, serving companies who have employees whose jobs require them to travel internationally. We provide taxation advice and compliance services to both the corporate entity and their globally mobile employees to ensure compliance with home and host country tax regulations.

The GES service line has a range of technology and analytics solutions which our clients really like. Clients use these solutions to meet their compliance obligations and improve the deployment of their talent to meet strategic and operational objectives.

Position: Visualization developer within the GES Technology Solutions team. This role is based in Bucharest and augments the existing development teams based in UK, US and Hyderabad.

This role is a hands-on development in a small development team who together will support and enhance a range of business applications.

The candidate will be passionate about data and driven to find the best way to transform data into actionable insights and at the same time able to engage in end-to-end development of both technical scripting and design aspects of Qlikview application development.

You will be expected to:

• Maintain Qlikview server data extracts, admin rights, dashboards and usage statistics
• Show interest in data visualization, quantitative analysis, predictive modelling, statistics, basic computer programming and human behaviour
• Demonstrate proficiency in Qlikview Desktop and Server and/or Tableau server and SQL essential
• Clearly document all processes implemented.

To be considered for this role you will have:

Qualifications / Experience

• Educated to degree level with at least 4+ years of experience in commercial application development.

General Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English - both written and oral, with all levels of staff / clients
• Prior experience building applications using Qlikview data visualization software Qlikview server configuration and maintenance
• Self-started and experience in working to a strict timescale

Technical skills

• Knowledge of the following tools/platforms (pref. to advanced level):
• Qlikview development (v.11) any v12 experience is beneficial
• Experience with QlikSense (advantageous)
• Tableau (advantageous)
• SQL Skills (advantageous)
• Understanding of service oriented architecture
• MS Office
