▪ Plan and perform measurements and tests as requested via Test Orders and serial production requests ▪ Ensure that the test equipments have the correct fixtures, tools and devices ▪ Prepare programs for 3D measurement machine (CMM), tensile machines, roughness meter etc ▪ Define the work instructions needed to correctly operate the test machines ▪ Ensure equipment calibration and metrology compliance of plant equipment ▪ Maintain the metrology database according to requirements ▪ Make sure all calibration certificate for equipments are available and according with necessary period of time ▪ Create the calibration records for equipments ▪ Maintain to standard requirements the equipment from laboratory area ▪ Train the laboratory technicians regarding the measurements methods and the way how to use the equipment ▪ Establish the work instructions for laboratory equipment ▪ Escalation to quality manager in case of sever nonconformity and problems that needs a management decision ▪ Participate to internal or client 8D sessions ▪ Authority to stop the production line in case of nonconformity founded ▪ Immediate announcement to the quality manager and production manager in case of line stop. Assure support in case of nonconformity found on the production line ▪ Participate to the focused efforts on solving non conformity issues ▪ Perform proper actions and follow�up ▪ Assure the quality criteria is met ▪ Perform presentations concerning test results and metrology items, linked with customer demands ▪ Responsible for the coordination of laboratory technicians, as appointed by the direct superior ▪ Can participate as technical interviewer in hiring processes for new team members ▪ Responsible for the workload planning of the technicians in subordination, including vacation planning, daily attendance, and back�up planning. ▪ Track and report the performance of the laboratory � metrology, R&R � as synthesized in the KPI's. ▪ Provide coaching to other Laboratory Engineers, junior to his / her function ▪ Act as mentor for the integration period of new colleagues: support the definition of Training Integration Plan, goals for integration and offer further support for a successful integration ▪ Provide training to the team colleagues on topics defined together with the Department Manager ▪ Perform trainings for other departments according to quality requirements / standards/ introduction day. * Ensure the compliance with legal and corporate guidelines (e. g. labor time, environment protection). ▪ Take appropriate organizational and supervisory measures to comply with rules for safety, environmental protection, fire protection, security and health protection ▪ Follows the instructions and requirements of the direct superior. ▪ Respects the confidentiality of information he/she has access to inside the company. ▪ Respects Internal Regulations and company's procedures. ▪ Respects the internal regulations regarding work safety and the environmental policy of the company.

* University degree (e.g. Mechanics, Electronics) or relevant professional experience.
* 3+ years experience as Laboratory Engineer
* Quality standards knowledge: ISO TS 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 19011, ISO 9001
* Measurements methods
* SPC, MSA knowledge
* Problem solving methods
* Software (QS-Stat or Minitab)
* MS Office
* English
