DESIGN ENGINEER, Location: Cluj-Napoca

Sales Consulting activates on the HR market since 1998, having a national coverage in several areas of expertise: recruiting and selection assessment center HR market mapping/due diligence projects, personnel leasing, payroll.

Sales Consulting has 2 fully operational branches: Cluj-Napoca (also the head-office) and Bucharest.
We are developing various projects (Recruitment, Training and Consultancy) in some of the most varied type of industries:
- AUTOMOTIVE/PRODUCTION/ENGINEERING (Specialists and Middle & Top Management positions)
- OUTSOURCING (BPO/SSC/CC)
- IT & C (C++, C#, .NET, Java, Linux etc)
- FMCG (sales & purchasing positions; all levels)
- PHARMA (all levels)

- BSc/MSc degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar education
- Advanced knowledge in power electronics, especially drives and inverters and analog electronics
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Embedded Workbenches like IAR
- Experienced in the Software Validation
- Knowledge in the simulation w/ Matlab and Simulink is an advantage
- Willingness and ability to learn new things in a quick way
- Very good written and verbal command of English
- Working experience of 2-5 years
- We are looking for generalists (Hardware/Software) instead of specialist in only one area
- The SW-Skills should be at least expandable
- The candidates will be stay in Cluj for around 60-70%, the rest in the Aachen facility and on customer side.

- Be part of the specification and qualification team for integrated drive controller appliances
- Analyzing/Validation of Hardware and Software designs starting at a very early design stage based on the product specification and European directives and standards
- Programming Controller Software in “C” to control parts of HVAC Systems
- Using ModBus protocol in order to communicate with the integrated drive
- Software Validation based on the V-Model for internal as well for external SW-Solutions
- Working close together w/ our team in Cluj and our Solution Center in Aachen/Germany
