Java Developer Senior

• Very good understanding of Java, Generics, Thread, JDBC, Collections framework, Exception Handling (Senior Developers: 3-6years; Expert Developers: 7+ years of experience with Java)
• Practical experience with implementing Java GUI applications (SWT, Swing)
• Good understanding of relational Datamodel, able to write SQL Queries (select, insert, Update)
• Knowledge how to use Eclipse in an efficient way, knowhow to debug classes, how to change behavior or to calls during debugging, find and search functionality
• Basis knowledge about Linux as operating system, no programming skills necessary (vi editor, grep, sudo, netstat and so on)
• Practical experience with version management systems like SVN, clearcase, CVS

Would be a plus:

• Worked with Spring, Spring webflow in Java projects
• Experience with Webservice frameworks like Jax-WS, knowledge about SOAP, WSDL, UDDI
• Practical experience with developing JUnit tests

• Design, configuration, implementation, development, maintenance the code for complex application functions
• Software development, deployment and support life cycles
• Writing technical specifications, technical design documents, requirement analysis

OTHER REQUESTS

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar degree
• Teams are working in the agile groups (analysts, developers, testers), experience with agile methods (e.g. SCRUM, XP) is a plus

• English is project language, German knowledge not compulsory
