Internship gNOC Technician (Support Group)

Internship Role&Context

To support our quick business lines expansion and new services offered to our clients, we need 2 more NOC Technician Interns who assist at monitoring through the internal apps the passive infrastructures and access networks.

Our Intern NOC Technicians will report directly to the NOC Manager and will be exposed to a highly technological environment with assistant. The candidate should be computer literate, accustomed with or trained in electrical/energetic domain.

You must be able to:

• Monitoring alarms & events via internal apps
• Assist (attend) to basic troubleshooting (remote)
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks with an engineer
• Managing escalations and dispatching with manager
• Administration of information (work orders, reporting)

We expect for you to have:

• BS/MS final year student, preferable in: telecommunications, power and electronics
• 3-6 month of relevant technical experiences like: academic&personal projects, internships, NGO activities, etc.
• Fluent with computer applications handling
• Basic level of English or French languages (a plus: good level of communication in English or French languages)
• Basic troubleshooting
• Administration of information (by logging tickets & work orders, reporting)
• Distinguishers: any technology certification/training (within power supply/electrical/automation/IT/TELCO)
