EBC is recruiting for one if its clients, a leading renewable energy consultancy company operating in Jordan.

The company is providing engineering, financial and economic feasibility and technical advisory services for solar PV projects with an international team of talented engineers.

We are searching for Construction Managers for a Solar PV Plant in Jordan

Period of the project: 6 – up to 18 months

Skills:

• Experience in Solar Plant/renewable energy or construction projects, minimum 3 years;
• Previous construction site management experience;
• Good experience in supervising construction teams;
• Acquaintance with Project Management Systems such as Oracle Primavera or Microsoft Project;
• Autonomous in the communication with the Top Management of Clients and Contractors, structured thinking;
• Degree in Engineering: Civil, Electrical or Mechanical, it will be requested a local verification/exam from Jordanian authorities;
• Ability to elaborate comprehensive written (English) reporting on the site activities;
• Full mastering of the Microsoft Office package.
• Valid driving license

• Reporting to Project Manager
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
