Qualifications and experience
• Law school graduate;
• At least 3 years of professional experience preferably gained in a large corporate organization, dealing with internal regulations as well as local and international law;
• Good knowledge of corporate, commercial and labour law;
• Other specializations (e.g. tax, competition and regulatory, labor law, public tendering, M&A) are welcome;
• Sound legal reasoning, thoroughness, good legal writing skills;
• Excellent teaming and internal client interaction skills flexible and adaptable;
• Assertiveness and very good communication skills;
• Readiness to take on challenges, multi-task across projects, independently manage time and priorities and work under pressure;
• Fluency in written/ spoken English is a must;
• Good computer literacy - MS Office applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• dealing with the legal agenda of the Deloitte companies located in Romania – mainly in the area of corporate, commercial (contractual), labor and civil law;
• legal consultancy and support to other in-house departments: Human Resources, Office Management, Financial Department, etc.;
• preparation of legal advice for internal purposes;
• regular monitoring of new legislation in force and proposing of necessary changes and their implementation in all related areas;
• represent Deloitte companies in front of official authorities (trade office, commercial court etc.);
• review of standard company documents, including service contracts, internal policies etc. in compliance with local laws;
• implement Deloitte’s global policies locally, ensuring adjustments to the local conditions;
• co-operate with Deloitte Central Europe in-house legal team and the regional in-house community.
