EMBEDDED DEVELOPER (C) — Distributed Controller Architecture

Required competencies:

• Technical study of Informatics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience with embedded design projects
• Strong knowledge of C language (C++ experience is considered a plus)
• Basic Assembler know-how
• Practical experience with 8/16/32 bits microcontrollers
• Experience with GNU toolchains: gcc, g++, gdb;
• Good knowledge of Windows, Unix /Linux environments (including scripting languages)
• Experience of full product lifecycle: design and documentation, development, unit testing, refactoring, deployment and maintenance

Would be a plus:

• Experience with safety-critical or real-time embedded systems development
• Practical experience with following Microcontrollers: C167/164, XE167, Tricore, ARM Cortex, ATMega, PIC
• Knowledge of communication protocols and standards (CAN, Ethernet, I2C, etc)
• Experience with UML based software design and tools (Rhapsody)
• Knowledge of other Compilers : Tasking VX, Keil, ArmRealView, IAR
• Knowledge of real-time Operating Systems: PxROS (experience), Micrium uCOS-II
• Knowledge of unit test environments: Cantata, TestConductor, Rational RTRT
• Knowledge of In-circuit emulations
• Knowledge of Event Driven Programming / Multithreaded APP`s
• Debugger know-how: PLS, Vector Tools
• Knowledge of Clear Case/Subversions or other SW configuration management solutions
• DOORS experience

• Detailed design, Implementation/Coding and Unit/Module testing of distributed real-time systems
• Maintain existing product features, resolve issues and fix bugs
