Qualifications



-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
-5 years proven experience as a software engineer with at least 3 years writing client-side JavaScript
-Strong command of web standards and awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues.
-OOP experience and proficient in functional programming, able to write reusable code and libraries for future use
-Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular & Bootstrap, and using APIs.
-Experience with Angular Material Components and JavaScript rich interactions and animations.
-Proficient understanding of CSS3 (Media Queries, Pseudo Classes, 3D Transforms, Advanced Selectors, etc.)
-Proficient understanding of factors that contribute to client-side application performance and how to engineer for maximum speed and scalability.
-Proficient understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
-Attention to detail, and the ability replicate provided designs.

Job description

Front-end developer/engineer with strong command of HTML5, CSS and jQuery to support the on-going development of internally developed release management solution (vPLC). Will take ownership of streamlining the user experience across all major browsers, especially IE. Will take an active role in both shaping how the application looks, and the technical implementation.
