Java Developer

As part of the Technology development team, you will use solid test-driven development methodologies to deliver high quality components in a continuous integration environment. You will work with the latest technologies in an enthusiastic and pro-active team.
Essential:
• Experience in commercial software development (minimum 5 years);
• Core Java and J2EE;
• Proven experience in the delivery of complex enhancements;
• Self-starter able to work effectively in an Agile environment;
• Knowledge of common design patterns;
• Knowledge of XML/schema;
Desirable experience in any of the following :
• Enterprise Java
• Distributed and thread-safe systems
• Commercial experience of relational databases, e.g. DB2, SQL Server or Oracle
• Java application servers (JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic)
• Knowledge of Temenos’ T24
• XML/XSD
• MQ
• Oracle Service Bus / SOA Suite
• IBM WebSphere Message Broker / Integration Bus
• MuleESB
• Fiorano ESB
• Tibco
• Web Services
• SOAP/REST
• UML modeling
• Automated build processes, Apache Ant/Maven, Make.
• Hudson/Jenkins continuous integration
• Dependency management using Ivy
• Apache Velocity templating engine
• .NET/Visual Studio development and IIS
• XSLT
• OSGi
• IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC).
University degree: IT University Degree or equivalent
