Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation)

-Education: Degree in Economics/Management/Computer Science
-At least 2 years of working experience in automation testing (UI and backend)
-Comfortable with Java and with OOP concepts
-Experience with test case creation
-Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)
-Experience with working with databases
-Experience with testing web applications
-Assertive and results driven
-Responsible, methodical and organised - affinity for data analysis
-Can-do mentality, while acting as a continual improvement role model
-Thorough understanding of all aspects of software development and Quality Assurance, preferably with some exposure to standards like Scrum
-Team player with good communication skills (written and oral)
-Fluent in English

Your responsibilities:

• Support the Product Development teams to maximize quality for customer experience
• Own processes and best-practices on the following topics:
o Testing
-Create automated tests based on test cases – the Agile Testing Pyramid concept will be used: approximatively 80% backend automation tests and 20% UI tests (Selenium WebDriver)
• Create test cases
• Manually test the increment created by the Scrum Team
o Test infrastructure: use the internal / Azure infrastructure that will be built and the different build configurations which will be available in TeamCity
o Non-functional testing process: build up knowledge of the performance, load and stress testing processes to ensure performance tests can be executed by the teams.
o Test data process: improve the current reusability of test data, including customer data, by defining a global test data.
