Applications Intern - Microchip

The MCU16 Applications Team is looking for young talents to assist and support new trends in motor control applications development. He/she will help the design of simulation models for the current Microchip Technology offered motor control solutions. He/she will benefit on the job training to improve technical skills.
 

• Work with Matlab/Simulink or Scilab/Scicos to implement simulations
• Analyze existing MCU16 motor control software portfolio and transpose it in simulation models
• Implement MCU16 dsPIC hardware peripheral blocks simulation models while identifying the acceptable simplifications
• Exercise and asses automatic code generation performance while working on ways to improve it
• Create technical documentation, test reports

• 3rd / 4th year student in Automatics or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electrical Faculty
• Good knowledge of C programming and basic knowledge of assembly languages
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or Scilab/Scicos, continuous/discrete modeling
• Knowledge of electronics fundamentals
• Good knowledge of English and good communications skills
• Ability to learn and ability to work in a team
