Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering work experience required, preferably within the Automotive industry
• Educated to degree level, preferably in Mechanical or Engineering
• Able to communicate effectively, both orally and written in English
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Practical Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, preferably Green belt certified or lean expert
• Practical Knowledge of Standard Operating Systems within Automotive Industry
• A working knowledge of automotive standards, e.g. TS16949:2009
• A Practical knowledge of automotive tools such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flows etc
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). A background in Sharepoint Administration would be preferable.
• Experience in working in a matrix environment, as well as managing multiple priorities.
• Able to make sound decisions and work effectively in a highly technical team environment.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 and OSHAS18001 would be helpful.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure monthly performance data is entered by all sites in all systems (Currently: SupplyNet, QMIS, KPIs, OTD, EHS KPIs and Appsint) in a timely manner.
• Download and process the data from each of the systems this includes a plausibility check of the provided information.
• Update the following reports: All Employee Call, Senior Management Team, Global report, Regional reports (Asia/ EMEA/ Americas), Supplier Management and Management Review.
• Update and Maintain the Braking Quality and Technical Library, ensuring functionality of the site, managing users and creating and maintaining necessary workflows.
• Ensure the archiving process for obsolete documents within the library as well as the back-up of specific data stored within the site.
• Execute implementation of information systems projects such as Reliance (for Document Control, CAPA, etc..).
• Drive other improvement projects implementation with the methodology of lean or six sigma projects.
• Conduct training in corporate systems and requirements and ensuring these are up to date as necessary.
• Assist in strategic Customer, F-M site and Supplier initiatives to support continuous improvement programmes
• Assist in developing and deploying elements of the Business Management system across the group.
• Potential for travel up to 20% of time
